Across Serbia, independent media is collapsing at unprecedented speed — 95 violations against 184 journalists in just six months. United Media, home to the country’s final major independent outlets, is under siege through asset sales, backroom deals, and coercion. As the majority shareholder in United Group and United Media, BC Partners’ silence is deafening.
But silence is not neutrality — it is complicity. Because silence is a choice, and choices have consequences. History doesn’t hide those who enable censorship; it brands them permanently into reputations, careers, and legacies that no denial can erase.
